In Friday's non-league match, the host Taft Toreadors football squad scored a good 22-8 triumph over the Arleta Mustangs.
The Toreadors (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Dons come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Verdugo Hills defeated Hoover (Glendale, CA), 22-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 18. Arleta will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 20-6 non-league loss to Poly (Sun Valley, CA).
