Lincoln Mustangs (San Francisco, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football squad top the host Fremont Tigers (Oakland, CA), 67-41 in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Lincoln will meet a Grizzlies squad coming off a 44-7 non-league loss to Capuchino (San Bruno, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Fremont drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to De Anza (El Sobrante, CA) to meet the Dons in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Dons come into the test with a record of 0-1.
