In Friday's non-league match, the host South Carroll Cavaliers football squad scored a close 7-0 win over the Glenelg Gladiators.
In their next game, the Cavaliers play the Century Knights (Sykesville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 24. South Carroll will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
The Gladiators (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Hawks go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, River Hill was edged by Arundel (Gambrills, MD), 32-14, in a non-league test.
