Maine High School Volleyball - Gray-New Gloucester tips Mount Desert Island

In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Gray-New Gloucester Patriots volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Mount Desert Island Trojans.

With the win, Gray-New Gloucester advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Patriots host Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-0. Ellsworth won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Nokomis (Newport, ME)

The Trojans now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampden for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8.
