More Knights (San Jose, CA) backers were satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Latino College Preparatory Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pinewood (Los Altos Hills, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Pinewood was nudged by Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Eagles face the Luis Valdez Leadership Academy Lions (San Jose, CA) in a test, on Tuesday, September 16. Latino College Preparatory Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
