In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Taos Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Aztec Tigers.
The Tigers (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Tierra Encantada (Santa Fe, NM). The go into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Tierra Encantada got by Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 5-0, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pagosa Springs for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Aztec will play a Pirates squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Portales (Portales, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 2-1.
