The Freeman Academy Bobcats (Freeman, SD) soccer overwhelmed the host Douglas/Rapid City Christian Patriot Comets (Box Elder, SD), 8-0 in Friday's league challenge.

The Bobcats now hold a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belle Fourche for a contest on Saturday, September 6. Freeman Academy will battle a Broncs team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD). The Broncs record now stands at 2-3.

The Patriot Comets (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD). The Cobblers enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Rapid City Central was overwhelmed by Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD), 5-0, in a non-league contest.
