The Southern Wake Academy Lions soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles to 2 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
The Lions now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Central Carolina Academy for a Central Tar Heel 1A contest on Monday, September 8. Southern Wake Academy will face a Eagles team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to North Moore (Robbins, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Richmond Senior (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record.
