The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Sulphur Bulldogs (Sulphur, OK) and the visiting Atoka Wampus Cats (Atoka, OK), observed Sulphur's softball team get by Atoka by a tally of 9-2.

The Bulldogs (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Madill (Madill, OK). The Wildcats come into the 4A District 1 match with a 3-13 record. In their last challenge, Madill edged Colbert (Colbert, OK), 11-4, in a non-league challenge.

The Wampus Cats (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Roff (Roff, OK). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 15-7 record. In their last challenge, Roff was routed by Big Pasture (Randlett, OK), 10-6, in a non-league challenge.
