In Friday's non-league test, the Byng Pirates (Ada, OK) softball team the visiting Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE), by a margin of 6-2.

The Pirates now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lone Grove for a non-league outing on Monday, September 8. Byng will encounter a Longhorns team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Wilburton (Wilburton, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Lincoln Southeast moves to 2-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE) to encounter the Thunderbirds in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. The Thunderbirds come into the outing with a record of 1-10. Bellevue West lost 14-6 in their recent non-league outing against Millard South (Omaha, NE)
