The Wolverines now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Papillion-LaVista for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Westview will encounter a Monarchs team coming off a 9-1 league win over Millard South (Omaha, NE). The Monarchs record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Byng moves to 10-5 on the season. The Pirates host Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, September 5.
