The Gilmer Bobcats the visiting King's Ridge Christian Tigers softball squad by a count of 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats meet the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Gilmer will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Golden Lions come into the battle with a 9-3 record after their 16-0 league win over Lithonia (Lithonia, GA).
