The Norris Titans softball squad (Firth, NE), was routed 4-0 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO)

The Crusaders (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE). The Titans go into the non-league bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, Papillion-LaVista South nudged Burke (Omaha, NE), 12-0, in a league contest.

The Titans now hold a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Grand Island for a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. Norris will face a Islanders team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Islanders record now stands at 1-6.
