Oklahoma High School Softball - Tahlequah held off by Sequoyah

The Sequoyah Indians got by the visiting Tahlequah Tigers softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Quapaw Wildcats (Quapaw, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Sequoyah will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 11-3 non-league loss to Commerce (Commerce, OK).

The Tigers (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Shawnee (Shawnee, OK). The Wolves go into the 5A District 4 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Shawnee held off Durant (Durant, OK), 4-2, in a league challenge.
