Texas High School Volleyball - Richland bounced by Arlington

September 5, 2025: Prosper, TX 75078

Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Richland Raiders (Prosper, TX), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Arlington improves its record to 8-19 on the season. The Colts travel to South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX) to encounter the Warriors in a 6A Region I District 8 test on Friday, September 12. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 10-7.

The Raiders now have a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they host Van Alstyne for a 4A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Richland will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Farmersville (Farmersville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 20-6.
