Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) and the visiting Mineral Wells Rams (Mineral Wells, TX), observed Boyd's volleyball team top Mineral Wells by a count of 3-0.

With the win, Boyd improves its record to 17-9 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Nocona (Nocona, TX) to encounter the Indians in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 17-9.

The Rams now own a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pantego Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. Mineral Wells will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 22-3.
