Texas High School Volleyball - Lamar can't get by Burleson

The Burleson Elks edged the host Lamar Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Elks confront the Everman Bulldogs (Everman, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 game, on Tuesday, September 9. Burleson will attempt to advance on its 7-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 7-7 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Mesquite (Mesquite, TX).

With the loss, Lamar drops to 12-14 on the campaign. The Vikings host Martin (Arlington, TX) to play the Warriors in a 6A Region I District 8 outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 9-15. Martin won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Azle (Azle, TX)
