Maryland High School Volleyball - McDonough overwhelmed by Calvert

Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Cavaliers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Rams play the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Monday, September 8. McDonough will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Hurricanes go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Chopticon (Morganza, MD).
