North Carolina High School Volleyball - Carolina Day bounced by Gaston Christian

The Carolina Day Wildcats volleyball squad (Asheville, NC), was knocked off 3-0 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC)

The Eagles (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Warriors enter the NCISAA Metrolina Athletic contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Metrolina Christian Academy was knocked off by Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Asheville School (Independent) Blues (Asheville, NC) in a NCISAA Carolina Athletic battle, on Tuesday, September 9. Carolina Day will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Blues enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA).
