The Caruthers Blue Raiders edged the host Stockdale Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.
Next up, the Blue Raiders face the Golden West Trailblazers (Visalia, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 6. Caruthers will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Trailblazers go into the game with a 2-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Righetti (Santa Maria, CA).
The Mustangs (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Sunnyside was nudged by Bullard (Fresno, CA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
