In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Champlain Valley Union Redhawks volleyball team scored a big 4-0 triumph over the Middlebury Tigers.
The Redhawks (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT). The Bobwhites/Comets come into the Division 1 challenge with a 1-0 record.
Next, the Tigers meet the Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Middlebury will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
