Christ Covenant Spartans (Winterville, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners (Grantsboro, NC), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Spartans (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC). The Tigers come into the MACAA 2A challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Trinity Christian lost by Community Christian (Wilson, NC), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mariners meet the Faith Christian Academy Conquerors (Goldsboro, NC) in a MACAA 2A challenge, on Monday, September 8. Pamlico Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Conquerors go into the test with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC).
