Arizona High School Volleyball - Coconino can't hold off Montezuma-Cortez

In Friday's non-league battle, the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO) volleyball squad got by the host Coconino Panthers (Flagstaff, AZ), by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Montezuma-Cortez improves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Monument Valley (Kayenta, AZ) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Monument Valley won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Winslow (Winslow, AZ)

Next, the Panthers battle the Page Sand Devils (Page, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 6. Coconino will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Sand Devils enter the contest with a 2-7 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Joseph City (Joseph City, AZ).
