The Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles prevailed the visiting Dekaney Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Stafford Spartans (Stafford, TX) in a 4A Region III District 21 game, on Tuesday, September 9. Fort Bend Willowridge will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 6-15 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX).

The Wildcats (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Aldine (Houston, TX). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region II District 14 bout with a 4-14 record. In their last bout, Aldine fell by Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
