In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Denham Springs Yellowjackets.

The Cajuns (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Destrehan (Destrehan, LA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Destrehan beat Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Denham Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA).
