The Memorial Mavericks volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Holliday Eagles to 0 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mavericks now have a 20-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ryan for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. Memorial will play a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Boswell (Fort Worth, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 14-12.

With the loss, Holliday drops to 13-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX) to play the Tigers in a 3A Region I District 7 game on Tuesday, September 9. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 13-8.
