Texas High School Volleyball - Wakeland over Rockwall

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Wakeland Wolverines volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Rockwall Yellowjackets.

The Wolverines (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region II District 12 test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Reedy gained a win over Argyle (Argyle, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Yellowjackets now have a 14-14 record. They play next when they travel to Longview for a 6A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Rockwall will face a Lobos squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 19-6.
