California High School Volleyball - San Clemente tips St. Mary's

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the San Clemente Tritons (San Clemente, CA) and the visiting St. Mary's Rams (Stockton, CA), observed San Clemente's volleyball team hold off St. Mary's by a count of 2-1.

The Tritons (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Sailors enter the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Newport Harbor was edged by Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Rams now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newport Harbor for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. St. Mary's will encounter a Sailors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Marina (Huntington Beach, CA). The Sailors record now stands at 10-0.
