The Splendora Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Vidor Pirates to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now have a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Kountze for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Splendora will play a Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Lions record now stands at 17-3.

The Pirates (1-16) will now prepare for their game against West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region III District 18 game with a 0-5 record.
