With the win, Grove Christian School upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Falcons host Collegiate (Richmond, VA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, September 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Collegiate won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA)

The Knights now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kenston Forest for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 8. Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot will play a Kavaliers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Fuqua (Farmville, VA). The Kavaliers record now stands at 1-1.
