The Grand Junction Tigers soccer team scored 9 points and limited the visiting Basalt Longhorns to 2 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.

Next, the Tigers face the Durango Demons (Durango, CO) in a 4A Southwestern contest, on Saturday, September 10. Grand Junction will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Demons enter the contest with a 6-0 record after their 10-0 league win over Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO).

The Longhorns now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vail Mountain for a 3A/2A Western Slope contest on Tuesday, September 13.
