In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Lake Zurich Bears soccer squad scored a close 5-2 triumph over the Cary-Grove Trojans.
The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Patriots come into the North Suburban - Lake battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Stevenson nudged Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Trojans (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Gators come into the Fox Valley battle with a 3-2 record.
