In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Sparrows Point Pointers soccer squad scored a close 3-2 win over the Dulaney Lions.
The Pointers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Dundalk (Baltimore, MD). The Owls go into the Baltimore County 2A/1A battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Dundalk nipped Pikesville (Baltimore, MD), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Century (Sykesville, MD). The Knights go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
