In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights soccer squad scored a close 6-0 win over the John Marshall Monarchs.
The Maroon Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH). The Seminoles go into the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Monroe Central was overwhelmed by Wood County Christian (Williamstown, WV), 8-1, in a non-league battle.
The Monarchs (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against University (Morgantown, WV). The Hawks go into the Two Rivers battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, University was overwhelmed by Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
