Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverines now sport a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pepperell for a 1A D-I Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, September 13.

With the loss, Mt. Zion falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Armuchee (Rome, GA) to face the Indians in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 7. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 6-7. Armuchee won 10-6 in their recent league challenge against Coosa (Rome, GA)
