Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 8. David Emanuel Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA).

The War Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA). The Eagles come into the 1A D-II Region 3 test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Montgomery County was tipped by Washington County (Sandersville, GA), 7-6, in a non-league test.
