The Pinson Valley Indians (Pinson, AL) volleyball overcame the host Carver Birmingham Rams (Birmingham, AL), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Pinson Valley upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Indians host Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL) to face the Blue Devils in a 6A Area 12 outing on Thursday, September 8. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 2-4.
The Rams now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Jasper for a 5A Area 10 outing on Thursday, September 8. Carver Birmingham will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Haleyville (Haleyville, AL). The Vikings record now stands at 18-4.
