The Lakewood Cougars topped the visiting Cascade Bruins volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Squalicum for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Thursday, September 8.
The Bruins (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Mariner (Everett, WA). The Marauders enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Mariner was knocked off by Marysville Getchell (Marysville, WA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
