Rhode Island High School Volleyball - Chariho over Prout

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) and the host Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI), saw Chariho's volleyball squad beat Prout by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Chariho upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Chargers host Barrington (Barrington, RI) to play the Eagles in a Division 2 bout on Thursday, September 8. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Crusaders now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host West Warwick for a State Championship Division - A bout on Thursday, September 8. Prout will play a Wizards squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Wizards record now stands at 0-1.
