The Cooper Cougars held off the host Midland Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cooper for a 5A Region I District 4 test on Friday, September 9. Cooper will confront a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tascosa (Amarillo, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 22-4.

The Bulldogs (9-15) will now prepare for their test against Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Sandies enter the non-league test with a 20-8 record. In their last test, Amarillo held off Coronado (Lubbock, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
