Indiana High School Volleyball - Greenfield-Central over Cowan

September 6, 2022: Muncie, IN 47302

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN) and the host Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN), saw Greenfield-Central's volleyball squad beat Cowan by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Greenfield-Central upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Cougars host New Castle (New Castle, IN) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 8. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 9-2. New Castle lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Westfield (Westfield, IN)

The Blackhawks now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Wes-Del for a Mid-Eastern bout on Wednesday, September 7. Cowan will play a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Western (Russiaville, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 8-2.
