In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Southern Valley Eagles (Oxford, NE) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Franklin Flyers (Franklin, NE), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Eagles face the Elm Creek Buffaloes (Elm Creek, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 6. Southern Valley will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Buffaloes go into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Axtell (Axtell, NE).

With the loss, Franklin moves to 1-7 on the year. The Flyers host Kenesaw (Kenesaw, NE) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 15. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a record of 3-4.
