Texas High School Volleyball - Shoemaker can't hold off Harker Heights

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Harker Heights Knights volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Shoemaker Wolves.
The Knights (6-19) will now prepare for their battle against Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX). The Bulldawgs come into the 6A Region II District 12 battle with a 20-9 record. In their last battle, Copperas Cove nudged Johnson City (Johnson City, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wolves encounter the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 battle, on Friday, September 9. Shoemaker will attempt to advance on its 17-9 season record. The Broncos come into the battle with a 21-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Davenport (San Antonio, TX).
