The Marion Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Harrisburg Bulldogs to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cahokia for a South Seven game on Thursday, September 8. Marion will meet a Comanches team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Madison (Madison, IL). The Comanches record now stands at 3-2.
The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Benton (Benton, IL). The Rangers enter the Southern Illinois River-to-River Ohio game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Benton was dropped by Carterville (Carterville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
