The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) and the visiting Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), saw Huntingtown's volleyball squad beat Stone by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Huntingtown upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Hurricanes host McDonough (Pomfret, MD) to play the Rams in a Southern Maryland bout on Monday, September 12. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Cougars now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Point for a Southern Maryland bout on Thursday, September 8.
