The Louisburg Wildcats held off the host Piper Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bonner Springs for a non-league test on Thursday, September 8. Louisburg will confront a Braves team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS). The Braves record now stands at 0-4.

The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS). The Bobcats enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Basehor-Linwood was nudged by Blue Valley (Stilwell, KS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
