The Shiprock Chieftains volleyball team (Shiprock, NM), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM)

The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM). The Lobos enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Escalante defeated Monte Del Sol Charter (Santa Fe, NM), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chieftains encounter the Window Rock Fighting Scouts (Fort Defiance, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 9. Shiprock will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Fighting Scouts enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Show Low (Show Low, AZ).
