Virginia High School Volleyball - Covenant over Virginia Episcopal School

In Tuesday's league contest, the Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) volleyball squad knocked off the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Timberlake Christian Tornadoes (Forest, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 8. Covenant will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Tornadoes come into the contest with a 6-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Faith Christian Academy (Hurt, VA).

With the loss, Virginia Episcopal School drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bishops travel to Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA) to battle the Kavaliers in a non-league contest on Friday, September 9. The Kavaliers come into the contest with a record of 5-5. Kenston Forest won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA)
