The Monacan Chiefs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Godwin Eagles to 0 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Chiefs now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host L.C. Bird for a Dominion game on Thursday, September 7. Monacan will confront a Skyhawks team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Skyhawks record now stands at 2-3.

The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Panthers enter the Colonial game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Hermitage dropped by Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
