The Mesquite Wildcats football team (Gilbert, AZ), was beaten 26-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Eastmark Firebirds (Mesa, AZ)

The Firebirds (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Arizona College Prep achieved victory over Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ), 43-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilbert for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 13. Mesquite will meet a Tigers team coming off a 28-18 non-league loss to Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
